Born in tiny El Salvador, I migrated to Canada at the age of 3 years old. Lover of animals, I have a degree in animal physiology and planned to make a career in ethology, but life had other plans. I am now a homemaker and a writer, and my family is the inspiration for most of my work. I also dabble in photography.
